A trip to the zoo

In july, I went to the Beijing Zoo with my best friend and we had a lot of fun there.
On the morning, we went to see monkeys. The monkeys are very cute, especially the baby monkeys and their fur is yellow or brown. Seeing monkeys in person made me believe that a monkey’s bottom is red. Those cute monkeys ate what visitors gave to them such as bananas, melon seeds, and peanuts. They are good at climbing the trees.
Next, we moved to the forest of birds where we saw different species of birds. Regardless of their small bodies, the birds are very colorful and perfectly formed. I also found that their feathers were soft when I touched one of the little birds.Most of the times the birds roost on the trees but if they need to find something to eat, they will fly away.
Then my friend and I decided to see giraffes in the woodland.Giraffes with long necks are brown and white. It is obvious that they are much taller than other animals.Giraffes are always walking in the woodland and it is easy for them to eat the leaves on the trees.
Finally we saw some koalas from Australia.Those koalas with grey soft fur are so adorable and small. Even a grown koala looks like a cute baby. Koalas like dwelling in the trees and they are always sleeping.
During the trip to the zoo, I saw a variety of animals and had a chance to feed the fish and monkeys.Besides, I also took photos of adorable koalas. Before I came home, I bought some beautiful postcards of special animals for my family.
