During the winter holiday, I went back my hometown to see my parents. Since I am a grown-up, I thought I could do something for them.
I helped my mother do some housework - washing dishes, mopping floor, planting flowers, etc. My father is a heavy smoker, I tried hard to convince him to quit smoking, but it didn’t work. Somehow I found out that he has cultivated new hobbies other than smoking, which are fishing and hiking. So I accompanied him when he’s eager to go fishing. And when we were out for fishing, my mother would always feel lonely and boring. In order to make up for that, I played Chinese chess with her from time to time…
I love my parents and I am more than willing to do everything to make them happy.
