Mother's Day is on the second Sunday in May.On this day,people in the USA and many other countries try to do something special to show their love for their mothers.
Many American childrn surprise their mothers with breakfast in bed.They also do all the housework so Mom can relax.Some children give their mothers cards,gifts,or flowers on this day.They mary also take Mom out to her favorite restaurant for dinner.Many people also wear red or white carnations,a kind of flower,to show their love for their mothers.Mother's Day is a good day to say"Mom,I love you."
