Ants live in colonies where the queen lays eggs.The workers gather food and take care of the nest.The soldiers guard and protect the colony.Ants communicate by touching with their antennas.They direct others to the food by leaving a sweet scent made from a chemical called pheromones.Ants can lift objects 50 times their own weight.
