Charles Chaplin was born in London in 1889. His mother was a dancer and his father was an actor. He started dancing and singing for money in1894.In 1912 he joined a traveling theater company and went America. Two years later,someone offered him a part in a film, then he went to Hollywood and because a film director after four years. During the later years he made many funny films. In 1977 he died in Switzerland. People remember him forever.
