The backswimmer or Notonectidae is a kind of aquatic insect that swims upside down. These insects are all predators that grow up to 2 cm in size. Their diet is as large as tadpoles and small fish. Derived from its name, these aquatic insects swim on their backs, vigorously paddling with their long, hair-fringed legs. Their habitat is freshwater like pnds, lakes, pools, and marshed. Good thing about this insects is they can fly well and so migrate easily to new habitats.
