Thanksgiving Day is a harves festival.Traditionally,it is a time to give thanks for the harvest and express gratitude in general.It was connected with religions at frist.But Thanksgiving Day is now regarded as an important holiday in the United States.
Today,Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. Thanksgiving dinner is held for family members and friends to get toghther.And usually Americans eat turkeys on the holiday.
As we know,now Thanksgiving Day is not only celebrate in western countries,it's becoming more and more popular,as in Asia,people take this day as an opportunity to espress their gratitude to their famlies, friends or anyone they think worth a "thank you",especially among young generation
