Charles Chaplin was born in London in 1889.His mother was a dancer and his father was an actor.He started dancing ang singing for money in 1894.In 1912 he joined a traveling theater company and went to America. Two years later,someone offered him a part in a film,then went to Hollywood and became a film director after four years.During the later years he made many funny films. In 1997 he died in Switzerland.People remember him forever.
