I will tell you a traditional Chinese story called Jin Wei Fills the Sea.
Once upon a time, the god had a pretty daughter,but one day when the small girl played by the sea,the waves killed her.After she died,she hated the sea so strongly that she became a bird called Jin Wei.She tried to fill the sea so that no one would be killed by the waves.So she carried stones from a mountain by the sea and dropped them into the sea.She did it day after day and year after year.
